The festival has been running for over 40 years and is
staged on the foreshore lawns. Free entertainment,
competitions and contests for all age groups. Held
around Australia Day long weekend at the end of January.
Highlights include the World Champion Tuna Toss,
Crowning of the Festival Ambassador of the Year,
Street Procession, Movie night, Talent Quest , Seafood
and Wine Expo Sunday and a spectacular fireworks display
