Port Lincoln is the seafood and aquaculture capital of Australia, home to the country’s largest commercial fishing fleet and renowned for its Southern Bluefin tuna, King George whiting, Western King prawns and Southern Rock lobster.
With a population of approximately 14,500 and situated on Boston Bay – one of the largest protected natural harbours in the world and three times the size of Sydney Harbour – Port Lincoln offers visitors a myriad of unique experiences, both on and off the water, including 4wd tours, culinary experiences, fishing and aquatic activities on Boston Bay, swimming with tuna and sealions and exploring the area’s sheltered beaches and booming surf beaches.
